Eat Local Caledon Spring Festival

Sunday, May 16th, 11:00am-2:00pm, at Inglewood General Store

A celebration of spring, community, local food and the start of the growing season! You will find:

  • Herb and vegetable seeds and seedlings, heirloom tomato seedlings
  • Natural fertilizers
  • Stirrup hoes (essential & highly recommended tool for weeding!)
  • Gardening tips
  • Make-Your-Own herb pot station
  • Asparagus, rhubarb, oyster mushrooms, maple syrup, wild leeks, spring greens, soups, scones, bird seed & more!
  • On the BBQ: Local burgers and sausages from Heatherlea Farm (frozen will be also be available for purchase)
  • COOKING DEMONSTRATION with FREE SAMPLES!!! Chefs Warren Gelinas and Erik Kjaer of Village Bistro and Market Hill Café will be showcasing some delicious ways to use local spring foods… bet you can’t just try one!
