Inglewood Farmers' Market
A Community Market
Every Wednesday, June 9th - Oct 6th, 3:30-7:00pm at Inglewood Farmers' Market
Initiated through a partnership between Eat Local Caledon and the Inglewood General Store, the Inglewood Farmers’ Market takes place every Wednesday evening from June to October. The market first opened on June 11th, 2008 and quickly gained momentum in its first year as a great place to eat and shop for fresh, local foods.
This year, opening day is Wednesday, June 9th, 2010 and this is shaping up to be another successful season! Opening Day activities will include lamb on the grill, live bluegrass music, free sampling of rhubarb chutney, a kids’ herb-pot station and of course, great vendors with locally grown and produced food.
With its idyllic setting, community-feel and wonderful variety of vendors and foods, visiting the market is an enjoyable experience and is yet one more way that you can eat more locally and support our very own farmers and producers.
